When the Company moves towards the building it's first manufacturing unit in 1978, it will do it in a towering location, on the so called "Vale de Ouro", which literally means Golden Valley. This toponym will give its name to all the companies which make part of "Grupo Valouro". Presently, this Group consists in 39 companies, employs around 2,200 workers and has a turnover that allows it to be considered one of the largest in the agribusiness sector, at the Iberian Peninsula.

Grupo Valouro is investing in a new production facility for breeder parents, that will be able to supply half a million “one day broilers”, per week, in partnership with a Spanish company. This unit is centrally located in Spain, in Navalmoral de la Mata.
